Starting with version 3, Disk Drill offers the option of recovering data on internal memory storage of Android devices. Disk Drill will help you get your accidentally deleted photos, videos, SMS, contacts and more back!

The only thing you have to do before you can actually start the Android data recovery – is to root your Android device or enable USB Mass Storage mode if supported. This is required to allow Disk Drill’s scanning module access your Android device’s file system and your deleted data on it. After your device is successfully rooted, you can connect it to your Mac and launch Disk Drill data recovery tool. You will see your device’s name on the first screen, select it and click the RECOVER button. After the scan is over, Disk Drill data recovery software will list all the files that are recoverable.
